Nyotron, dealing with developing and marketing high-end solutions for information security, announced the appointment of Amir Shemer as VP sales EMEA. Shemer will lead the sales department and set the strategy, support and partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before Joining Nyotron, Shemer held management positions in CA, Promisec and M-Systems (Purchased by Sandisk).
Shemer’s appointment for the position is a tell tale for the company’s intentions to deepen its hold in the local and international market, Nyotron said in its statement, and also mentioned that during last year it established itself in locating and preventing focused attacks (Zero-Day(, While also experiencing a growth in the amount of its customers, among them some Federal organizations in the US and economy and security outfits in Israel.
